“Scott, I just wanted to thank you again for everything at our July 11 wedding this summer. We had a blast and I think our guests enjoyed the reception as well. I knew everything went smoothly as far as I was concerned (minus the missing cake for a while…) but I am even more aware now. We went to a wedding a couple weeks ago in KC that was a bit more high dollar than ours just because of the location and food. However, they used a ‘family friend’ for the DJ. The difference was quite obvious to both myself and my mother-in-law. The reception seemed to drag, we never knew what was going to happen (cut the cake, first dance, etc.) and we never really danced. It made me even more aware of how the right DJ can really affect the flow and excitement of a wedding reception. That being said, I am now even more pleased with your performance at our wedding reception. Everything flowed so smoothly, it was always upbeat, the timing was great and there were always people dancing. Thank you so much for everything. You really are the expert! I still remember when you mentioned how we should cut the cake at the very beginning…I thought you were nuts! But that – as well as all of your other ideas – really paid off!
